While I already wrote a geek gift guide over on Random Sarah I thought it was only approprate for me to write a guide for all the other things that I am wanting, wishing, and needing this holiday season. These gifts are all great for any woman on your list.

#1 While anything from Tiffany & Co. will usually make a girl happy I am very fond of the 1837 collection. Here you have the Bar pendant in sterling silver. On an 18" chain. Anything from tiffanys makea great gift esspecial when she opens it and see that famous box. Her whole face will light up.

#2 Anything from Dogeared.com make a great gift I chose this little heart necklace for my list but anything from them is a great gift and always affordable.

#3 Gloves or a Scarf - A great pair of gloves or a scarf is always a great gift. Especially in the winter time. Find some that she will love and you are on your way to a great gift. This Tousled Scarf is one of my favorites and has been on my wishlist for some time.

#7 Porcelain Pots With Little Bellies ($38) - This is a group of porcelain pots that are hand thrown and turned. They are reduction fired to 1280 in my gas kiln. The tallest one is 2 inches in height and diameter. They are glazed with celadon, temoku, white crystal and white. They can be used as sake cups, tea-light holders, for buttons, paper-clips what ever!

Always remember that whatever you get her she will love as you put thought into it. And the timeless gifts of food and chocolate always are good choices too.

While out at a signing for their new book MK&A wore very simple black and white outfits. Which are very easy to re-create. Mary-Kate's look starts with a pair of faux leather leggings, a large white button down shirt (then roll up the sleeves) Ashley's look is even more simple, get a simple black shirt dress, and roll up the sleeves. Top off both looks with sky high stilettos and some smokey eye makeup.

Bags to own

This is my list of it-bags, bags I hope to own in my lifetime. I am not a fan of bags with lots of logos. I like classic shapes and timeless colors.

The first one I will probably own on this list is this Marc Jacobs bag. It would be the smallest splurge and I have wanted it the longest.

American Apparel how I love thee

American Apparel is one of my main go-to places for basics. The clothes are made better and they just last longer! Right now these are some things I am wanting. A long sleeve v-neck tri-blend shirt, and a shear turtleneck both perfect for winter! Also their basic bandeau bra (super comfortable and great under low v-necks when you don't want to wear a whole shirt) and the perfect cowl neck dress (comes in so many colors and is perfect alone, with a belt and even over jeans or leggings!)

If you haven't seen this commercial then you were NOT watching Gossip Girl last night! But I watch it and I loved it! Sofia Coppola's first-ever commercial, featuring Maryna Linchuk for Miss Dior Cherie fragrance. It was so adorably charming it actually made me want to go to the store and see how it smells. If it smells anything like how amazing this commercial was, I might have to buy it! If you were wondering about the song in the commercial it was Brigitte Bardot's song, "Moi, Je Joue."

‘Gossip Girl’ Allows Its Light to Shine

It is a measure of both the ~~quality~~ energy of the writing on Gossip Girl and the acting of Leighton Meester that the character of Blair Waldorf is able to try to humiliate her best friend, crush an innocent underclassman, thwart her mother’s crucial fashion show not once, not twice, but three times, and you still end up feeling like she’s the victim at the end up the episode. It’s like reading American Psycho and finding yourself hoping that Patrick Bateman gets away in the end (and still gets that reservation!). Are we demented? Or have we just been expertly manipulated by Queen B?

Let us look onward, to this week's reality index, for the answer!

• They included a shot of Michael Kors backstage at the tents, which is obvious enough of a choice. But they also included a shot of cutie Brian Reyes! That’s like, Junior Varsity Fashionism. Plus 1, because the rest of the episode’s Fashionism is strictly Freshman Team.

• Speaking of Fashionism, do prep school girls in New York really read Women’s Wear? Yes, yes they do. Plus 2.

• “Kirsten Dunst?” asks Laurel. “So 2007. Her rehab barely made the radar.” Plus 2, because that is kind of totally true and plus 5 for awesome Hollywood bridge-burning.

• “Are you gay?” Chuck asks Dan after he asks to get close to him. Plus 2, because finally. Plus an extra 3 for Chuck's totally absurd neck scarf.

• “Don’t ever go to high school, Dorota! The girls are spoiled stupid and ungrateful,” wails Blair. Plus 5 for the decibel at which this rant is performed. It actually seems like Blair is going to hyperventilate, just like a real adolescent would. And plus 20 for Blair's assumption that Dorota hasn’t already gone to high school.

• Let's get into the friendship between socialite Poppy Lipton and Serena. It's not totally unrealistic that an adult would take around a high-schooler as arm candy - we read about that sort of thing in the Styles section! - but in the world of Gossip Girl, why would Poppy willingly build someone up who could later topple her from her own pedestal? Minus 1.

• Speaking of weird intergenerational friendships, Minus 3 for all of the energy this Shapiro character, for all his annoyingly well-conceivedness, puts into his relationship with Dan. ADULTS JUST DON’T CARE ABOUT HIGH-SCHOOLERS THAT MUCH. Minus 4.

• And furthermore: How come Eleanor Waldorf lets teenagers decide everything for her? Minus 6, because the woman has a successful business and somebody had to be around to run it before Blair was out of jumpers.

• Minus 2 for the little blue pills Chuck offers Dan. At first we thought it was Viagra, since it didn't have an imprint of a smiley face or heart or anything that would suggest it was Ecstasy, and we had to wait around for the shoes comment to know. Then we were disappointed because (a) that was kind of subtle and (b) Chuck leaving Dan shoeless in Chinatown with a giant raging boner would have been so much better.

If you think that high heels will always hurt, then you NEED to try the Cole Haan Nike Air collection. Once you try on these heels you will know that something is different. The shoes have Nike Air built in at the ball of the foot and the heel. They really are the ultimate in style and comfort. However, since they aren't cheep (but totally worth the investment) I recommend getting a classic style like the Fiona pump.
